Remote Website Launch

Using the Net Control Application on the podium machine you can send a command to launch a specific website in Firefox by following these steps:

  • Open Net Control 2 via the start menu or desktop icon.

  • Select all 36 machines by pressing Ctrl + A or clicking on the select all icon toward the top left of the screen.

  • Click on the Programs button from the ribbon.

  • Choose the Command Prompt tab.

  • In the Run program/URL box enter the command you would like to run, for Firefox to open a specific page that would be:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" "**URL**"

  • Click on Run or press the Enter key.

    • ** Firefox will open to this URL if it is not already running, if it is already running it will open the site in a new tab.
