Lab Information

The Rawls Research Lab is a secure space which requires prior authorization and ProxCard access. The lab has a total of 36 seats, comprised of six six-seat pods. Each station is outfitted with a workstation. Any researcher can decide if they would like to utilize the computers placed at each station or research via different methods. Technical Information

Data Security

The Rawls Research Lab computers are networked behind a secured firewall and assigned a private IP. For computer security and data privacy, Deep Freeze software is installed on every lab computer.

Please note: This software deletes all the documents and data with every reboot. Researchers must know the procedures to backup their data after they have competed their experiment, before restarting the computers and leaving the lab.

Storage

There is currently no storage available in the Rawls Research Lab for personal items. Participants will need to make prior arrangements.
